Lauren Berry

Lauren joined U of M's Irish dance group before it was even called Léim with no prior dance experience whatsoever. Always jealous of her cousin's years of Irish dance training, she was thrilled to find people that were willing to teach such a total klutz how to dance. She is absolutely thrilled that she is no longer the only person to ever hit the floor in the middle of a performance (sorry Chris and Shawna!) Having graduated from U of M in 2004 with a BFA in Metalworking, she can still be found around bumming around Ann Arbor teaching dance, choreographing, designing and making costumes as well as the website you see here, acting as group mom, and trying not to fall down. Her other activities include knitting, making corsets, kilt inspection, downhill skiing, and making shiny things.

"You know, you Irish cops are perking up. That's two sound theories in one day, neither of which deal with abnormally sized men. Kind of makes me feel like Riverdancing."
